Mr. Brooks graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Health/Physical Education and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Arkansas State University. Prior to owning The Goddard School, he worked as a teacher and football coach at several Arkansas high schools. Mr. Brooks has always been passionate about education and the development of young people. Mr. Brooks and his wife Amie have 4 children; Cruz, Cali, Crosby and Campbell. In his spare time, you can most likely find him at a golf course, football field, basketball court, baseball diamond, or dance recital cheering for one of his kids!
Ms. Omeshia is very passionate about Early Childhood Education. She began working in childcare in Russellville, AR in 2006 and instantly fell in love with nurturing and watching children blossom right before her eyes. She then moved on to The New School in Fayetteville where she has worked for 9 years and in 2017 transitioned to The Goddard School. Omeshia has her Bachelor's in Educational Studies from The University of Arkansas.
Ms. Skylan has worked with children from infancy to preschool, for nearly 12 years. She joined The Goddard School Fayetteville when we opened, as Lead Preschool teacher and now serves as the Director of Operations. Ms. Skylan has a passion for helping children and teachers reach their full potential. Her and her husband, Matthew enjoy cheering on the Razorback baseball team and spending time outdoors fishing, kayaking, camping, and hiking.
Ms. Lexi has her Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from the University of Arkansas. She and her husband, Corey, moved to Fayetteville from Arizona, and are now proud to call themselves Razorback fans. Ms. Lexi has worked in preschool education for over 8 years and has been with The Goddard School Fayetteville since it opened. In her "spare" time, you can find her at the CrossFit Fayetteville gym she and her husband own, continuing her passion for teaching, fitness, and helping others. We love the energy and positive attitude Ms. Lexi brings to work each and every day and are so glad she's on The Goddard School team!
Ms. Alexa has been with Goddard since 2018 and has even added her own little one to the Goddard school family! She has worked with every age group in the building and loves watching the children learn and grow! She also has her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and has lived all over the state of Arkansas!
Ms. Berenice was born and raised in Springdale, Arkansas. She graduated from the Don Tyson School of Innovation where her passion for working with children began and is currently attending the University of Arkansas to further her education. Ms. Berenice has been working with children for a couple of years and has always had a passion for helping children thrive and grow! Outside of the classroom, you can find her spending time with her family, going outdoors, and trying new local coffee shops!
Brianna graduated from Arkansas State University with an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2019. She then moved to Fayetteville with her husband Nick and has been at The Goddard School since 2021 and now has a son that attends as well! She loves seeing children put their knowledge to use and watching them become more independent!
Ms. Brittany was born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas, but has resided in Springdale the past two years. Brittany has been in the preschool setting for 10 years and enjoys watching the children learn and grow. Her favorite thing about teaching is embracing the new adventures each day brings. Ms.Brittany recently welcomed her son, Ollie, to the world with her husband Nathan. On the weekend, you can find Ms. Brittany enjoying time with her fat cat, Nermal, drinking coffee, and going on adventures with Nathan and Ollie.
Ms Chantel is originally from Springdale Arkansas. She is the youngest of six children. Ms Chantel graduated from Springdale High School. Her passion for working with children began after volunteering for after school programs in 2017 when working with children ranging from infant to Pre Kindergarten. She would like to potentially expand her knowledge and hopes to go back to school and pursue a degree in Elementary Education. Her favorite things to do when not working with little humans is spending time with her partner, family and friends, and playing catch with her fur son Beau.
Ms. Michele lives in Fayetteville with her husband Don. She has two adult children, Alysha and Cody, and seven grandchildren. Michele started working with children at a young age in the church nursery and that's where she found her love for children. Michele has worked in childcare for 12 years and has been at Goddard for four years.
Originally from Stillwater, Oklahoma, Ms. Mika moved to Arkansas in June 2020 in hopes of a new adventure. She graduated in 2020 from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Human Sciences and a minor in Microbiology. Ms. Mika has been with The Goddard School since January 2021 and loves to teach and watch her students grow.
Ms. April is from Fayetteville and has worked with children for almost a decade! She enjoys watching the children grow and learn everyday! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, doing puzzles watching movies and reading.
Ms. Avery is from Fort Worth, Texas and is a current Junior at the University of Arkansas. She is getting her Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences as well as a minor in Child Services. She plans to get her masters degree in Speech Pathology and hopes to work in the NICU! Ms. Avery has always had a love for children and feels blessed to have found such an amazing community at The Goddard School!
With four years of experience as a dedicated teacher, Ms. Cassie is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. She focuses on supporting early childhood development through hands-on activities, creative expression, play, and positive guidance. Her favorite teacher quote comes from Ms. Frizzle, “take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!”
Ms. Cierna grew up in Mena Arkansas alongside 6 sisters, but moved to Bentonville when she was 12. She is a student at the UofA working towards a degree in Psychology, with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences. Childcare has always come naturally to her, but finds herself learning something new everyday! She has worked with children professionally since 2022, but prior to that, was a nanny and volunteered in my church’s nursery throughout high school. Ms. Cierna spends her free time at the gym, studying, reading books, or watching movies!
Ms. Gracie is originally from Austin, Texas. She has always had a passion for working with children, growing up babysitting and volunteering in various programs. She is currently a student at the University of Arkansas, studying Elementary Education and Spanish. Gracie is excited to continue gaining hands-on experience in the classroom as she prepares for her future as an educator. When she’s not studying or working with little learners, she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
Ms. Hallie is from Wichita, Kansas and moved to Fayetteville two years ago to pursue her degree at the University of Arkansas. She is a Public Health major with a minor in Medical Humanities and is working towards being a pediatric occupational therapist. She has worked with preschool and elementary school children since 2021 and is passionate about helping children reach their personal goals and encouraging self-directed learning! In her spare time, Ms. Hallie enjoys working out, watching movies, playing video games, and hanging out with friends and her cat!
Ms. Hannah is originally from Batesville, Arkansas and recently moved to Fayetteville with her husband to pursue a degree in Elementary Education at the University of Arkansas. She has worked professionally in early childhood education since 2022 and gained additional experience with young children through babysitting and volunteer opportunities prior to that. Ms. Hannah is passionate about working with children and is excited to continue building her skills and experiences as she prepares for a future career in education. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking outdoors, and baking.
Ms. Kate is a student at the University of Arkansas and is studying Communication Sciences and Disorders to become a Speech Pathologist. She is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ms. Kate has babysat for many years and loves being around children! She feels lucky to get the opportunity to work at Goddard and see all the sweet kiddos grow!
Ms. Lily is a senior at The University of Arkansas, pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. She plans to attend graduate school for a Masters in Teaching. Ms. Lily is passionate about Early Childhood Education and has been working in childcare since 2017. Ms. Lily joined Goddard in 2022 and finds joy watching children grow, reach new milestones, and forming meaningful connections with the children and families!
Ms. Mackenzie is originally from Mountain Home, Arkansas and graduated from Arkansas State University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2023. She then moved to Northwest Arkansas with her Husband in December of 2023. Ms. Mackenzie has always enjoyed watching children grow and learn and getting to know their fun personalities. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her Husband and her pug!
Ms. Mary was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas! She has always wanted to work with children and loves teaching and hanging out with her sweet class everyday! Ms. Mary has bachelors degree in English Literature and loves to read! She also has a major sweet tooth and loves to bake lots of goodies to share with her friends and family!
Ms. Maya is currently a junior at the University of Arkansas pursuing a degree in Marketing and a minor in Business Analytics. She is originally from Kansas City and has been working with children since 2019. She has always had a love for working with children and seeing them learn and grow more everyday!
Ms. Molly was born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and has always loved working with children. She has spent many years babysitting and caring for kids of all ages and enjoys creating a warm, supportive environment where children feel seen, valued, and excited to learn each day. She is currently a student at the University of Arkansas, studying Criminology with plans to become either a lawyer or a child advocate. In her free time, you can find Ms. Molly watching football or basketball, coloring, or going for a run.
Ms. Patty has lived in Springdale her whole life and has three siblings; two older brothers and a younger sister. She graduated from Springdale High School in 2022 and hopes to return to school to further pursue a career in teaching. She has been working in childcare since 2022 and always loves to see little ones grow and develop and have their own personalities shine. When she isn't working, she is spending time with loved ones, playing tennis, or crocheting.
Ms. Treasure has experience working with children ranging from infancy through adolescence. She is passionate about fostering growth, confidence, and success in every child she works with. Ms. Treasure earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Philander Smith University and is dedicated to creating positive change within her community. In her spare time, she enjoys watching crime series, researching new topics, exploring new experiences, and spending quality time with her sorority sisters.
Ms. Justina is from Mountain Home, Arkansas and currently majoring in Human Development and Families Sciences. She has previously worked in childcare and spent three years as a gymnastics coach and competitive cheer coach. She is planning to get a Masters degree in Child Counseling. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors hiking and playing with her dog!
